After growing up in St. Petersburg and earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida, Giorgio took a sharp turn and moved to London to pursue his passion and obsession for filmmaking. From starting off as an actor working on several short films in Florida, to receiving his Masters in Filmmaking from the University of East London, he is now based in Brooklyn continuing to act, make films, and work in post production. 

His first three years of filmmaking consisted of trial and error short films that only a handful of people had the not-so-pleasure of seeing. But once the stride was found, he then wrote, directed, and acted in a short film called uTransfer; a Sci-Fi, Single Location, Two-Hander. It was accepted into several Film Festivals, won the Grand Prize at the MoPOP Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival in Seattle and the Best Actor Award at the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival. 

Me + Lee; Giorgio’s most recent short film is his Slice-of-Life Drama follow up short which got into prestigous festivals like the New York Shorts International Film Festival, Virginia Film Festival, and Directors Notes.

Giorgio is currently amidst the film festival runs for two shorts. Perfect Pop, his dive into the genre of absurdist comedy. Which you can catch at the Maryland Film Festival and Brooklyn Film Festival. And reMEMS, an exploration into experimental filmmaking which was nominated for Best Micro-Short, Best Experimental Short, and Best Comedy Short at the Sunday Shorts Film Festival.
